Come to learn a new/old skill!
Tyler State Park is partnering with Nichole Gerding of Thankful Sage Farm School to bring you Hands-On Heritage.
In each of these evening programs, we will discuss local history in context of the season, try our hand at some heritage skills and take something home to share with our families.
What: Spring Cleaning
We will be discussing tips, customs, and recipes for spring cleaning in an early American home. In lieu of a take home craft, we will be demonstrating how to make lard soap. Each class member will be taking home a bar of Thankful Sage Farm School Soap.
When: Monday, March 20, 2016, 6pm-8pm
Where: The Classroom at Tyler State Park
Who: Adults (teens ages 16+ are welcome to attend with a parent)
Cost: Registration will be confirmed upon receipt of $12 per person materials fee
